Since 1994, Vuyani Wakaba has been using DR Strings exlcusively on his electric basses.  His reason for using DR Strings is that they last longer than the other strings he has played in the past.  Vuyani also likes the way the DR Strings make his basses sound.  According to Vuyani, DR Strings offer a high end that is much more musical and is not harsh.  Also, the low end is warm, full, with good definition. 

On December 24, 2009, Vuyani learned that he would be included as a DR Strings endorser.  This endorsement would allow Vuyani to continue his informal sharing of his love for DR Strings' products with his fellow musicians at a formal level.  Vuyani is proud and honored to officially join the members of the DR Strings family.  DR Strings will continue to be Vuyani Wakaba's exclusive string of choice!
