On December 18, 2010, Vuyani's band "Vuyani Wakaba & Friends" spent the day shooting a video of the band playing some of its music at The Music Garage in Chicago.  This video shoot was the band's first shoot and it was produced and engineered by Paul Norman, Patti LaBelle's audio engineer.

The band was made up of Chris Edwards on percussion, Juan Garza on guitar, Adrian Garza on drums and Vuyani Wakaba on bass.  Also present at the video shoot, even though they were not participants, were Chicago bassists Mike "Kemet" Pryor, Jauqo III-X, Jason Montgomery and Bill Dickens.  Vuyani and the band appreciate the moral support from these accomplished musicians.

The audio from the video shoot will be mixed by Paul Norman at his production facility in Chicago's Music Garage.  Mastering will occur at a neighboring production facility.  Eventually, the video editing will be done by Paul Norman and Vuyani Wakaba.

Vuyani would like to extend his sincere thanks to the wonderful musicians in the band who were kind enough to lend their time and skills to this project.  Thier efforts will forever be appreciated!  Also, Vuyani wishes to thank the amazing Paul Norman for the huge time commitment he has made to this project.  Without Paul's skills, this project would not have been as successful as it is.
